A little glimpse of our Christmas tree, wishing you a Merry Christmas
My Christmas Eve Outfit, Blouse: Mom's hand-me-down, Skirt: Marshall's, Boots: Michael Antonio
Christmas outfit. This poncho is really a child's poncho, but it was too festive to pass up, and it kept me warm as a bonus. Poncho: Talbot's Kids, Dress: Monteau, Socks: Kohl's, Boots: Baker's.
I hope you all had a lovely holiday season.

FAMD Banquet
We had an end of the semester banquet with our fashion club this weekend. It was so much fun, and beautifully Christmas decorated.
My favorite part of this dress is the back. I think the deep V in the back is very elegant.
I was wearing: Dress: Thrifted, Shoes: Thrifted, Earrings: Charming Charlies

Outfit of the Past
When I was home for Thanksgiving I wore this outfit to the parade that goes through our town. I took the pictures of the outfit but never got around to posting...until now.

Gobble Gobble
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I had a great time being home. I'm looking forward to having three weeks at home in just three short school weeks, although I'm sure the time at home will seem to go quicker than at school.
During Holidays, my job is to decorate. Here is a peek at how I decorated our Thanksgiving table this year.
And here's one with the candles lit
And on to my outfit. I was wearing Top: The Limited, Skirt: Urban Outfitters, Boots: Baker's.

Birthday Party
This past weekend was my 21st birthday, and I went up to my cottage with some of my friends.
Here is the beautiful mermaid birthday cake my friends made me.
I was wearing: Dress: TJ Maxx, Boots: Baker's, Belt: Vintage.
Here's me and my boyfriend being goofy at dinner.
We all decided to take a midnight walk down to the beach.

The Windy City
A couple weekends ago, our FAMD group went on a field trip to Chicago. We took many pictures in hopes of posting, but as usual didn't happen. Anyway, we had lots of fun exploring the city, here's a glimpse at some of my outfits.
They were just starting to put up the Christmas decorations. Last year when we went there were more decorations up and it was beautiful. We also made an annual trip over to see Santa at Macy's.
I was wearing: Blouse: Kohl's, Skirt: Express, Shoes: Thrifted
I tried on this outfit and H&M and I absolutely was in love, but I don't think I'd get much use out of either of these pieces. But at least I have the picture to last, maybe I'll get around to trying to sew it myself. Hopefully a winter break project.

Halloween Recap
Last time I promised Halloween posts, but school got the best of my time and I never made time to do a post. So not that it's almost a month later....
Have any of you ever "boo-ed" your neighbors or friends?? My neighborhood used to boo each other all the time when we were younger, and we thought it would be a good idea to boo some of our friends. We learned that all our friends don't share the same enthusiasm for Halloween as we do and they didn't carry on boo-ing. It's ok though, we had fun dropping off the packages and scurrying away anyway. And of course we had to dress in all black to be super sneaky.
My first Halloween costume was a boxer and my boyfriend was a referee. I didn't have much time to put a costume together, and I took a boxing class this semester, so I thought I'd make extra use out of these gloves.
The next night we went out and I borrowed Allison's dance costume to be a flapper.
The next day we went to a friend's house as the Spice Girls. We weren't a perfect match, but I feel we captured the essence of the Spice Girls pretty well. And just remember that if you wannabe my lover, you gotta get with my friends.

I'm backkk
Whoa, so sorry I've been M.I.A. I haven't posted in about two weeks. I'm sort of bummed cause in these past weeks I've worn outfits I really did like but I just haven't had the time to take pictures. I have a big Halloween weekend ahead of me, so expect an overload of pictures.
Jacket: Gap, Top: TJ Maxx, Dress: Vintage, Belt: Calvin Klein, Shoes: Nine West
Yesterday was the most perfect recipe for a beautiful day. It was about 3 cups of sunshine, 4 cups of warm air, 2 cups of wonderfully cool gusts of wind, and a few dashes of happiness. I could have stayed outside all day, and I tried to, but class sort of put a damper on that.
Allison and I decided to go to the field by our house for photos. I was hoping the trees would still have some vibrant colored leaves on them, but no such luck. However, I am sort of loving the juxtaposition of the sunshine with the dead foliage...how about you?
