Gobble Gobble

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I had a great time being home. I'm looking forward to having three weeks at home in just three short school weeks, although I'm sure the time at home will seem to go quicker than at school.
During Holidays, my job is to decorate. Here is a peek at how I decorated our Thanksgiving table this year.

And here's one with the candles lit
And on to my outfit. I was wearing Top: The Limited, Skirt: Urban Outfitters, Boots: Baker's.

Birthday Party

This past weekend was my 21st birthday, and I went up to my cottage with some of my friends.

Here is the beautiful mermaid birthday cake my friends made me.

I was wearing: Dress: TJ Maxx, Boots: Baker's, Belt: Vintage.

Here's me and my boyfriend being goofy at dinner.

We all decided to take a midnight walk down to the beach.

The Windy City

A couple weekends ago, our FAMD group went on a field trip to Chicago. We took many pictures in hopes of posting, but as usual didn't happen. Anyway, we had lots of fun exploring the city, here's a glimpse at some of my outfits.

They were just starting to put up the Christmas decorations. Last year when we went there were more decorations up and it was beautiful. We also made an annual trip over to see Santa at Macy's.

I was wearing: Blouse: Kohl's, Skirt: Express, Shoes: Thrifted
I tried on this outfit and H&M and I absolutely was in love, but I don't think I'd get much use out of either of these pieces. But at least I have the picture to last, maybe I'll get around to trying to sew it myself. Hopefully a winter break project.

Halloween Recap

Last time I promised Halloween posts, but school got the best of my time and I never made time to do a post. So not that it's almost a month later....

Have any of you ever "boo-ed" your neighbors or friends?? My neighborhood used to boo each other all the time when we were younger, and we thought it would be a good idea to boo some of our friends. We learned that all our friends don't share the same enthusiasm for Halloween as we do and they didn't carry on boo-ing. It's ok though, we had fun dropping off the packages and scurrying away anyway. And of course we had to dress in all black to be super sneaky.
My first Halloween costume was a boxer and my boyfriend was a referee. I didn't have much time to put a costume together, and I took a boxing class this semester, so I thought I'd make extra use out of these gloves.

The next night we went out and I borrowed Allison's dance costume to be a flapper.

This Minnie Mouse costume was another last minute decision, but I love these ears, so I figured Halloween was a perfectly good excuse.
The next day we went to a friend's house as the Spice Girls. We weren't a perfect match, but I feel we captured the essence of the Spice Girls pretty well. And just remember that if you wannabe my lover, you gotta get with my friends.

And to cap off the Halloween festivities, I went as girl Pinocchio...so would that be Pinocchia??
