Saturday Morning

Today I went with my family to Eastern Market in Detroit. After, we took a little detour down this historic road which made a lovely backdrop, I just loved the tall trees, old houses and cobblestone street.

While the chill winds may not make it feel like summer, the opportunity to relax let's me know it's here. This past semester has been the worst of all, filled with late nights of projects, many tears, and lots of candy to help get me through. The hours I've spent napping this week are hopefully letting me catch up.

The Days Came and Went

I have been the worst blogger in 2013. I find it comical that one of my New Year's Resolutions was to stay on top of outfit posts. And then I started school and realized I have the semester from hell. The combination of my classes are killer and summer seems to be only a flicker of light at the end of the tunnel at this point. In two weeks I'll be half way done but the thought of midterms soon makes me anxious.
Anyway, I was hoping to document my outfits this weekend while I went up north with my family but stupidly thought the batteries in the camera would last and didn't bring a spare pair. Turns out the batteries I had were pretty darn close to dead themselves. Here is Saturday's outfit. Ignore the ugly faces, the snow would get in my eyes and make me squish my face up.
