Sunny Days Drifting Away

Vest: Vintage, Shorts: Vintage, Wedges: Bamboo

I love the end of summer when you get to cherish the last joys of summer--eating ice cream cones out in the sun, swimming in the lake, rollerblading, feeling the warm sun rays so sweet like kisses on your skin. What I also enjoy is knowing that wonderful fall is right around the corner. What is there to not like about fall? Fall fashion, fall colors, the frequent smell of bonfire, apple orchard trips, and darn near sinfully sweet apple cider, among other things.
Today was super sunny and hard to get a picture without squinting, but nonetheless it was one of those enjoyable days signaling summer is wrapping up. I decided to wear a black suede vest that used to be my mom's back in the day, and some floral flowy shorts. Even though I looked perhaps a tad bizarre wearing wedges while biking back and forth from class all day, I thought they added a certain oomph to my outfit, more than sandals would.

Thanks for visiting!
